The aim of the Club is to promote the enjoyment of photography and improve knowledge and skills in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. New members are very welcome regardless of their level of ability.
Arctic Sunset – John Simpson
The club’s programme of weekly meetings runs from September through to May each year with a summer break.
The varied programme which includes visiting speakers, practical demonstrations, competitions, social evening and exhibitions, all provided within a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Around 30 members currently attend our weekly meetings.
The current membership fee is £30 per season plus £5 door fee each evening attended. Non-members who are club visitors pay £5 per evening attendance. Under 18s pay £2 per evening.
If full payment is made by bank transfer the weekly fee will be £4.50.
A hardship fund is in place should any member need support.
Potential new members can attend the club as a visitor for two or three Tuesday evenings (at a cost of £5 per attendance) before deciding whether they wish to join the club and pay the annual fee.
The club can access more high quality speakers by using Zoom. Charge to non-members using Eventbrite
to listen to a club speaker is £6.00.
