Club Trips, Workshops and Events

Birds of Prey

Club members attended a workshop run by Claire Carter in Thoresby Park, Newark, Nottinghamshire. These Bird of Prey photography workshops offer an excellent opportunity to create images that most can only dream about whilst also learning new photography skills. For the more experienced photographer, the day provides an opportunity to hone skills such as high-speed photography.

New Brighton Lighthouse

After a very successful visit to New Brighton Lighthouse on the Wirral members are hoping to repeat the visit during 2022

Model Sessions

After purchasing new lighting the club has been able to hold photography model workshops, supporting the members to develop their skills in portraiture and flash. The club plans to hold more sessions during the season

Other trips and workshops

Over the course of the season, members are given opportunities to attend a number of activities designed to accommodate the wide variety of interests.  Some of our previous trips include visits to different parts of the country,  both local and national to enable members to develop their landscape photography skills. These have included visits to the Ilse of Mull, Snowdonia and Yorkshire .

All of these activities are fully supported by the club and assistance from more experienced club members will be given as required so that everyone is able to learn and practice their skills.
